Jute is a natural fibre, chosen for its warmth and texture — and like all natural pieces, it deserves gentle care.

• For everyday use: Shake off crumbs and spot clean with a damp cloth.
• For spills: Act quickly. Blot (don’t rub) with a clean cloth to lift liquid.
• For stains: Use a mild dish soap and water solution, blotting gently from the outside in. For lingering marks, add a touch of white vinegar to fresh water and repeat.
• To dry: Always air dry flat, away from direct sun.

Avoid soaking, scrubbing, or harsh chemicals — these can weaken the fibres or change the natural colour. With simple care, your jute placemats will stay beautiful, season after season.
